WHAT IS MY RELIGION PART ONE:
The word religion only occurs 5 times in 5 verses of scripture. Acts 26:5, Galatians 1:13, 14, James 1:26, 27. The word religion was not once mentioned in the old testament. Being since there is not enough scripture to put a title or label on any specific religion that exist. The scripture doesn’t recognize any other religion other than these few listed here. The religion of the Pharisees, The religion of the Jews. It was labeled to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and keeping oneself unspotted from the world.
If you google religion you’re going to get a massive ocean of information. Simple faith covers everything! Every subject that will be covered can fall into 6 different categories.
- The Holy Scriptures ~ this is God’s word and final authority for all of humanity~
- Gospel ~ This is God’s only plan that exist for the salvation of all humanity~
- The Ministry ~ These are men God chose, authorized and delegate his authority to lead God’s people~
- Church ~ The assembly of God’s people~
- One God ~ Creator of heaven and earth~
- The Doctrine ~ The ways of God which divides and separates~
Under each category are sub categories that covers a wide scope of other doctrines. And they are all connected. The most important doctrine that gets us into the kingdom of God is the Doctrine of Salvation. In the dispensation of the New Testament we have to go back to the beginning of the Gospel. The 4 Gospels refer to the 4 gospel (singular) accounts written by 4 different men! Three of each of the four books shows the Gospel lining up in the same please.
- Matthew’s account lines up with both Luke’s and John’s account at the third chapter of each book.
- Mark’s account is the only one that doesn’t line up at chapter three instead it starts at chapter 1 verse 1.
Pay close attention by following the birth of Christ and his transitional period at John’s baptism all the way through to his death burial and ressurection. Pay attention to the Ascension of Christ.
WHAT IS MY RELIGION PART ONE:
There are doctrines that get us into the kingdom of God! There are also doctrines that we must continue you in that keeps us in the kingdom of God. Always remember you can lost that which you obtain. Salvation is something that you can very well lose. There are a lot of false doctrines out there that suggest once you’ve obtained Salvation that you can’t lose it.
